The lesson price
| Lesson | Length | Frequency | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private, in person at the studio | 30 minutes | Weekly | $35 |
There is one price. A six-year-old's first piano lesson costs the same as an adult's lesson on drop-tuned metal riffs, and a mandolin lesson costs the same as a guitar lesson. Measured by the hour, $35 for 30 minutes works out to $70.
What the price includes
The half hour is yours alone: nobody else in the room, and the lesson is planned around what you want to play. Songs you bring are written out for you in notation or tab, so the transcription comes with the lesson rather than as an extra.
Before you pay anything
The free intro visit is free and commits you to nothing. You meet Bill, talk about goals, and get advice on buying an instrument if you need one. Weekly lessons start after that, if you want them.
Scheduling
The studio is open Tuesday through Sunday, with afternoon and weekend hours. Lesson times are arranged with Bill directly; the contact page has the phone number, email address and the full hours.
